In 1997, I was diagnosed with Retinitis Pigmentosa — a nerve condition where the neurons sending visual signals to the brain became distorted.
Social isolation: People assume I can’t lead a normal life.

Employment barriers: Many employers don’t give opportunities to the visually impaired.
